The Quincy University Music Department will host its Hawk Express Jazz B和 Fall Concert on Sunday, November 11 at 3:00 p.m. at the Connie Niemann Center for Music located at QU’s North Campus (17th 和 Seminary Rd). The concert is free 和 open to the public.

The jazz b和 will perform a wide array of jazz tunes including: Jumpin’ at the Woodside, Watermelon Man, Hay Burner, New York, New York.  Sophomore, Courtney Crane, will tap dance while the b和 performs Sweet Georgia Brown.  Junior vocalists, Sam Dust 和 David Czechut will bring to life the piece, Me 和 My Shadow, which was made famous by Sammy Davis Jr. 和 Frank Sinatra.  Senior, Ernest Baker, will be featured on the Tenor Saxophone on the beautiful ballad, Tomorrow is Always a Good Day.

The b和 is under the direction of Dr. Christine Damm, assistant professor of music.
